The Banksters behind the High Cost of Gasoline!

Who’s driving up our gasoline prices and what’s the motive behind it? The demand for gasoline in the United States is lower than its been since 1997. With the world economy still soft all over the globe, the world is awash in oil. According to the “USA Today”,  the top export of the United States is fuel! Bet you didn’t know that with all the politicians jumping up and down hollering about energy independence and the need to “drill baby drill”.

In 2011 our number one export was energy products, we shipped more than at any time since 1990. That’s right. We shipped more energy overseas than any other commodity produced in this country. And that my friend is one of the reasons why our costs are going up, as we ship more petroleum to overseas buyers, there’s less left here for us to use domestically.  So when you hear all these oil companies and purchased politicians demanding we drill, drill, drill to reach energy independence, they’re lying. They know oil is a fungible commodity sold on the open market to the highest bidder. They want you to think the drilling is to create “stability here in the homeland” when in reality our resources are being exported to other nations and thats helping to drive up your prices at the corner station.

But wait, there’s more. If I wanted to slow economic growth, to marginalize the American economic recovery for political purposes how might I do it? Speculation, that’s how. It’s an unregulated market where a “non-user” can purchase futures contracts for pennies on the dollar. I and a few others could buy contracts for a “future” delivery date and essentially own the market pricing. I can make sure the economy remains weak by controlling the cost of a resource everyone has to have to make a living. The current laws allow me to “extort” whatever I want from the marketplace, from you, by allowing me to purchase for pennies on the dollar all the oil available in our market in a given time frame.  No wonder they call it , sweet, sweet crude!

And, that’s exactly what’s happening right now. They are drilling and shipping more than we have in decades. Stripping from the ground our grandchildrens inheiritance under the guise of “energy independence”. But in reality it’s the foreigners and banksters getting richer today. And, on top of that, they’re attempting to create ruinous economic conditions for political purposes. They tell us the sky is black when it’s white. They honestly believe we’re too dumb and lazy to understand the “bait and switch”. They don’t think we’ll ever be smart enough to understand what’s happened until the fat lady is singing and we’re all driving around in two cylinder cars.

They’re dead wrong. It’s time we demand open disclosure about who exactly is purchasing the bulk of these “future contracts” and how they are benefitting from keeping the rest of us down. Due to no regulation, it’s all a secret. The Buyers are bathed in confidentiality. That has to end, we need to see who’s screwing us. How they benefit from screwing us. How they’re manipulating our lives and our futures. It’s time we demand that any licenses granted to any oil companies operating in this country, getting permits for drilling in our public lands, should require that 75% of the energy produced be distributed and used right here in the homeland.  Thats how you get energy independence. No more free gifts to those that have already proven they enjoy and benefit from screwing the rest ou us out of our own God given resources.

No more lying about “energy independence” when all they’re really doing is stealing the American heritage and manipulating the American public. Demand full disclosure and demand regulatory change now.
