It can be said that a countries rise to greatness and fall from grace are caused by man’s violent repercussions that have reverberated through-out that country and perhaps the entire world. In practically every instance a dominate force creates a tempest of hostilities upon others who oppose what that dominate force wants to do, is about to do and is doing. It is through aggression over others that perpetuates open violent reprisals in asserting ones will over the inhabitants or the inhabitants succeed in repelling ones aggression in asserting their will. That is the main basis of the rise of a country
The United States rise to greatness started when the King of England put a heavy tax on consumer goods. The Boston Tea Party was the reaction by the inhabitants of America at the time. By the King of England leaving taxes on the colonists started repercussions that turned into violent confrontations that started the Revolutionary War. Our greatness actually started by the men who made it possible to form a nation founded on the four bedrock principles of Morality, Education, Justice and Liberty. Men like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin and others who had moral integrity and the wisdom to form what is the United states.
Ever since then though America’s greatness has been called into question time and time again. But, since the late 1960′s the US has seen an erosion of America’s greatness. Our fall from grace and greatness to mediocrity is attributed to not only a few individuals who have seized the reigns of power but, by others as well. We have allowed mistakes to repeat, ignorance and intolerance to rise where violent reprisals are all too commonplace.
Now, the question that nobody is asking: Can the American public stop America’s slide into history? Are we to apathetic and so willing to accept the way things are as to not question our own history that we were taught? Think about that! Governmental mandated curriculums. We have seen years of deteriorating academics in our schools for over 54 years due to governmental mandated curriculums.
Today, with so much violence in our society and our overwhelming acceptance of the status-quo without fully comprehending the actual decisions our government has made America’s fall from grace has only continued. The fact of the matter is that too many of us really don’t know, won’t accept, or can’t believe what our government has done and continues to do.
As we near the completion of the first quarter of the 21st century we have scientists that are now invoking Dr. Frankenstein type technologies in their attempts in creating life. And, yet there is still no urgency to find new technologies and use available technologies to negate the affects of the enormous amount of co2 in our atmosphere. A twisted sense of urgency is at play today. On one hand we are failing to use solutions that would save lives only to use efforts to end life. When we are disrupting the balance of nature where the process of life is tampered with without knowing the consequences of what we are doing or have done is now the accepted norm of today’s policies.
The imbalances man has wrought unto our planet and humanity has manifested themselves out of the harmonious union that prevailed for hundreds of years. But, now we are witnessing more violent reprisals by nature and man himself. From earthquakes, wildfires, typhoons, hurricanes, tornadoes, torrential rains, mass flooding, and extreme drought have all continued to escalate not only the imbalances of nature but man’s reprisals against humanity. The continued loss of life is staggering. Not to mention the trillions of dollars wasted in rebuilding lives and livelihoods.
America’s fall from grace stem from the facts that our leaders have failed Americans and the citizens of the world by the policies and actions taken from the past 50 years. Is there a way to stop this fall and restore our nations greatness? Fortunately, there is still time. Many have questions man’s existence of earth though. If man is born here is he meant to stay here? Are we destined to venture out into space and go boldly where no man has gone before to repopulate other worlds?
When we really think about that too often governmental policies have tended to put the cart before the horse analogy on so many projects that have only created more problems than solutions. We can find a balance where mankind strives to restore natures harmonious union with humanity. And, at the same time work toward developing new technologies that contribute to the balance of nature and enable man’s ability to venture out into the vastness of space.
Can mankind do it? Yes we can. But, only if there is a universal resolve of every nation to put aside their petty differences and work together to implement the policies and changes that are needed to bring about the balance of nature with humanity. By creating that balance mankind will be able to move toward a more secure future and will eventually be able to reach the stars. The future is ours for the taking. But, only if we have the courage and knowledge to grasp it. Let us not be victims of America’s fall from grace. The world depends on our leaders of tomorrow.
