With the world teetering on the verge of World War III the captivating audience here in America have been swept up in a quandary of circumstances beyond their control. The heat of mid-term elections has failed again to ignite a process of unification for a nation that has become so divided.  The overshadowing turmoil in Europe has eclipse the images of despair right here in America. Yet, there has been no real effort by the US to try to negotiate with both Ukraine and Russia to solve the most dangerous conflict that threatens the lives and livelihoods of millions all around the world. And there really hasn’t been any effort either to ease the economic and financial crisis that currently millions of Americans are now facing.

When we add all this up, we find our government has again failed in their international and domestic policies. What should have been done before the first tank rolled into Ukraine wasn’t done. What should have been put in place before our supply chain was curtailed wasn’t done. We can point fingers but the responsibility for the events that are playing out today lies directly with leadership.

In democracy it is the responsibility of the public to choose leaders that are a responsible of carrying out the publics will. It so happens though that for the past 50 years or so the leaders we have entrusted to do the public’s will have been corrupted by the influences and prestige that we have allowed to bestow upon our leaders. We have allowed our political system to become corrupt. When so much money is now a major factor in winning elections contributes to the level of corruption that has seeped in the halls of government. 

When we hear a candidate spew ” I am running for Congress, Senate of even President is totally misleading. What they should be stating if they truly wanted to move the wheels of government forward is “I am seeking a position of employment with the American public.” The term running for office does not imply that they if elected they are officially an employee of the Public. This has brought on the level of dishonesty, and a certain amount of avoidance to the public. The level of partisanship, and polarization of political parties has only increased over the years. As a result, the stagnation of governments has led to what we are facing today and what is unfolding in Europe, Asia, and the Far-East. 

For millions of Americans when the wheels of government do move it is always too little and too late in advancing the human conditions they have been stuck in for far too long. Running for office is a catch phrase that symbolizes their misguided attempt into moving the wheels of government forward. After they have bamboozled the public with their promises that always seem to resonate to the gullible into voting for them the only movement of government has always been backward. 

A breath of fresh air is needed to inspire a national confidence in the leadership that we choose. This country hasn’t had that kind of nationalism since John F. Kennedy. Maybe our country is too far divided to like Humpty Dumpty whew all the Kings men couldn’t put Humpty Dumpty together again. With the media still focusing on what former Trump is trying to do. In reality the media is actually an accomplice in further dividing the nation There has been no effort by either Trump or President Biden to rally a nation to close the divides that are tearing this nation apart. 

As a nation we the people have to see through of what Trump is doing and what President Biden is failing to do and focus on what a leader should do. A leader that inspires with a plan of direction, a plan of unification with detailed step progressions on how these plans will succeed. It is time we educate ourselves and not be so fixated on the failings of our current leaders but on the ways to elevate the human conditions of every American and millions all around the world.
