No Joy In Mudville {USA}

It’s the top of the ninth, 2 outs, bases loaded, 3 runs behind, and the USA up to bat. With the whole world watching here comes the first pitch. It’s a called strike. Second pitch a swing and a miss. As the USA steps into the batter’s box with what would be the final time all eyes are on the USA. Only a grand slam will win the game. Here comes the pitch and swoosh and a miss the USA has struck out.

The whole world has watched in amazement as the US went from first place to almost dead last. For today there is no joy in Mudville USA. For the US has succumbed to the dubious distinction of a league of nations whose status is characteristic of a Third World. We can be proud of a government whose policies from the past 50 years dismantled our core beliefs, our educational system, produced trillions of dollars of national debt, destabilized much of the rest of the world, lowered our life expectancy and greatly reduced our quality of life.

A third world nation is now the new reality facing the United States. Can we only blame ourselves for the demise of our once prosperous nation? A nation that rose to the pinnacle of prosperity, where our economy was the strongest in the world. Where our exports reached practically every nation around the world. And now we have to survive on imports from rival countries like China just to have some semblance of an existing economy. 

To put the blame on just one entity, no, we have to realize that for decades the slow deterioration of our nation in practically every aspect of life there has been governmental posturing and Supreme Court rulings that have turned this nation inside out. From immigration to gun sales, to trade agreements, and military involvements have all had a hand in reducing our nation’s health. By electing public officials who became corrupted by a political system where money has overruled common sense, the rule of law, and many other contingencies have reduced this nation’s ability to compete at the level we did from the end of World War II up until the mid 1970″s.

Is it too late for the good old USA to rebound? From the way things look from this past three years with the covid-19 pandemic, the insistence of an experimental drug masquerading as a vaccine to stop the spread, to the epidemic of mass gun violence in practically every city and town all point that this nation is very far removed from coming back to being the nation that we were 60 years ago.

There can be no rebound for this nation as long as there is such obstructive intolerance in government, the availability or military assault weapons for anyone to have access to, an educational system ripe with inconsistencies. and a public that has become disillusioned by what really is happening to them today. These are all eliminated in a plan of direction that bridges the gaps in our society, A plan of direction for growth, stability, health, security and prosperity for a nation that has truly lost its way. In educating the public that National Economic Ten Articles Of Unification is that plan. We have to realize that the only way to reverse the course this nation is on is by implementing total reforms and policy changes that produce the results needed to restore this nation.

Some may have given up hope and other remain doubtful while there are a few of us that realize that with the right reforms, education on the merits of these reforms and policy directives this nation can turn the tide of a nation sinking into the abyss. When we fail in education subsequently, we will fail at everything else we try to do.
