The Power That Still Powers Economies

With all the travesties that are taking place we have to be mindful of what the devastating consequences of the green energy movement is doing without considering that we are still very dependent on fossil fuel especially diesel, diesel oil and the additives that are necessary for the modes of transportation vital of the economies of every industrial nation around the world. 

Today every economy is driven by trains, planes, trucks and the machines that power farms. Without these modes of transport and machinery every economy shuts down. The fuel that enables our economy to function is still 80% dependent on fossil fuel and diesel fuel is the prime source that enables the ships, trains, trucks and farming equipment to function.

When many jump on the band wagon for renewable green energy we forget the world’s economies still run-on fossil fuel. And, right now without it being readily available economies will collapse. The point is this, we are just not there yet with the technology available to power cargo vessels, trucks, trains and the many machines used in food production. Maybe when we have dilithium crystals, pun intended like in Star Trek or some other form of energy powerful enough to power these machines that would replace fossil fuels it is still very necessary to produce oil and the bye products like diesel and gasoline. Sure, solar, wind and hydro power are all efficient forms of renewable green energy for homes, businessmen’s and such but to deny, cut off and eliminate fossil fuel right now puts every economy, and society in jeopardy.

When over four generations of our public have been undereducated by an educational system that has failed in its purpose to produce the level of educational standards that the US had 60 years ago could it just be that so many now are too quick to jump in on the latest craze without knowing the consequences of their actions? Today over 60% of American adults can’t read above 6th grade level. If that is not bad enough half of students today fail standard Englich tests. Only one third of 4 graders are able to read basic sentences. And 90% of all juvenile offenders are almost completely illiterate.

Until we acknowledge our failings in education and rectify the enormous deficiencies that have produced the level of intolerance, and an alliance to causes without knowing the full facts of what they are promoting puts our society to where we are now. Without a well-educated public puts a society at serious risk of succumbing to the rule of tyranny and an avoidance to the rule of law.
