While I generally don’t take any political side when it comes to the markets it is somewhat important to note the current approval ratings. With the mid term elections now only some five weeks away and the Obama administration’s approval rating at another new low we have to expect Obama attempting to throw whatever they have at the market.
When an administration is as desperate as they are currently we must expect anything at any time to come from Washington. One more reason to trade very cautiously here.
The Obama administration is afraid and concerned they will lose power of the house and senate come November. With this kind of pressure hanging over their heads watch out for some really stupid policy decisions to be made.
