''Jobs'' - the Ultimate Deception

The concept of working has been so ingrained in human psyche there is practially no way around it for most. Indeed, working is useful and necessary to survive on a planet, where one has to pay to live on. 

The problem is of a different nature: people with incredible talents are unable to develop themselves because the ”supply and demand” system keeps them in check. So yes, in theory you can do whatever you want; in practice, the system keeps you in check and makes sure you do not overstep the mark. 

Most ”jobs” do not contribute anything substantial to anything, apart from receiving a paycheck/working for someone else whose objectives are blurry at best. 

Economic growth is the new God. 

Jobs are not meant to change anything – they are meant to uphold the status quo of irrelevancy disguised as a survival mechanism.

In essence: working? Yes, by all means. Working as we understand it (in the Western world, at least). No comment.
