The layoffs are just starting to pick up, 18,000 MGM Intl (not all in Vegas) just lost their jobs, Ven/Palazzo coming in October. That will be the time when all the others fall in line. Can’t operate at 15% capacity during the week, and keep a full staff. They exhausted all loans, and are expecting the government to bail them out again. Ven/Pal lost almost 1Bil in Q2, similar Q3. Adelson doesn’t give money away, people are going to be losing jobs from now until October, Nov. Insurance until Oct 31. Vegas is going to get very gloomy around the holidays, oh and our government is telling everyone to f-off right after they destroyed 60mil peoples lives. That should tell you were society is headed.

The wealthy are leaving LA; the really wealthy are leaving the USA!

Los Angeles is turning into a nightmare more and more. I feel like it’s too late to rescue. Every body is leaving. The wise have already left.

Gas tax is something that can be avoided by driving habits and more fuel efficient cars. The real issues are income taxes and real estate taxes. This will just accelerate the introduction of electric cars. Need to ask the question why does someone who earns most of their money via investments pay less than someone with a paycheck. Why does capital gains avoid most payroll taxes. Why is income above 120K not subject to SS taxes? Yes the system is rigged but you need to understand how the overall tax system screws the middle class and the poor while making the rich richer.

Been reading a lot of conspiracies lately about a cataclysmic event is around the corner, and elites are running into the mountains. They want the population angry and divided, basically distracted until they don’t know what hit them. From the aftermath, a new world will be built.

We’re always been divided! California has been getting reduced financial funding from the federal government!
The insanity of our government is their ignoring the truth that our economic crisis is ongoing!

Housing, medical care, a wage that has kept up with the rate of inflation are unlikely to ever be achieved and people leaving are unlikely to find it elsewhere because this is a COUNTRYWIDE FREE FALL THAT THE GOVERNMENT HAS NO INTEREST IN SOLVING IT! And now conglomerates will swallow up so many small businesses that they are going to be monopolies!  

I live where we’ve lost our small businesses such as restaurants, gyms, manicure places, bars!  The exodus has been for over a decade it’s just more visible now since businesses have been on such a small profit margin that they can’t afford to come back because they can’t survive on a pandemic requirement of having their businesses only occupied by 25% meaning that they can’t survive!

We don’t have a financial system so a collapse isn’t being held off! It’s already in plain sight!
