Part I –FEDNow UPDATE, The New Economy, Technocracy & the Surveillance Society

            We are on the cusp of a new era, where all societies on a global scale will be run by technology and technocrats in a technocratic tyranny. This goes hand in hand with the United Nations’ sustainable development agenda –it stems from the U.N. and funnels down to all nations worldwide.

            Executive Director of Citizens for Free Speech, author, and speaker Patrick Wood’s book, Technocracy Rising: The Trojan Horse of Global Transformation, spells it out clearly,

“Technocracy is transforming economics, government, religion, and law. It rules by regulation, not by Rule of Law, policies are dreamed up by unelected and unaccountable technocrats buried in government agencies, and regional governance structures are replacing sovereign entities like cities, counties, and states.”

            The technocrats are those who rule under the technocracy. They can be from a variety of public or private organizations, self-proclaimed elitist individuals, politicians, nongovernmental organizations, corporations, and even local and state committees or groups.

          The key thing to remember is often they are “unelected”—the average person does not usually have a say in which of these people are appointed or put into which positions. In my opinion, the World Economic Forum is also part of the technocracy—Bill Gates, Klaus Schwab—people we did not elect; they are part of elite groups that come in issuing edicts, and yet not many people notice; they simply go along with their program.

            I believe the leadership of all of the tech companies is part of this technocracy—the technocrats. In recent decades, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, PayPal, Google, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and the like have had an amazingly huge amount of power and control in how we do business, what we buy, what we can post online, what we see posted online, online banking, how we find things online, surveillance, how we vote, who gets elected, who the trending celebrities are, what the trending news is, and so much more of our daily life.

            In my opinion, these technocrats will use technology, probably in concert with governments, to try to rule with an iron fist primarily through information surveillance and control.

            In a radio interview with Wood, he explained how technocracy is not a new idea and that there were technocrats in the 1920s and 1930s, but this movement might have started as early as the late 1800s. Technocracy is not a monetary-based supply and demand capitalist economic system that we are used to, but it is an economic system based on tracking and controlling energy consumption.

When you look at this from the perspective of the United Nations’ sustainable development agenda, it makes sense that technocrats will use energy consumption to gain and keep control of everyone and everything through energy usage.

Wood explains,

“There would be no supply and demand. There would be no choices . . . they would control all of the means of production and all the means of consumption. And that means that they would decide what needed to be made and then would have it made, and then it would be distributed to the population for consumption…Basically you’re just living month to month, and they would hand them (credits) out at the insistence of these engineers and scientists and technicians who felt like they and they alone were able to run the world.”

            According to Wood, technocracy is the science of social engineering and the scientific operations of the entire social mechanism to produce and distribute goods and services to the entire population. This scientific operation does not include any sense of governance, only those who are appointed. The scientists and engineers are considered the only ones smart enough to put together a system to make society work—a scientific dictatorship.

            The natural question would be: How would they keep control and police such a dictatorship?

            I believe this is where the surveillance society we see emerging in all areas of life comes in. As Wood pointed out, “Virtually everything we do is being harvested and stored within a central repository. And I mean everything–phone calls, emails, all your social media activity . . . all things are being monitored right now by our government . . . there’s no such thing as too much data.”
