5 Reasons Christine O'Donnell can win the Delaware Senate Seat

1-The People are hungry for a Fresh Face-In a year in which voters are looking for a fresh “non-establishment” face..she fits the bill. She has not held office before and the establishment’s of both Parties dislike her-all a plus this year.

2-Politics is a Contact Sport-Politics-like, any kind of sales, is a contact sport-the more people you contact the more success you will have. Rather than waiting to be annointed, like Mike Castle, O’Donnell has been all over the state meeting people. She has a personal base of goodwill and is a good campaigner. This will serve her well in November.

3-She does not need a lot of Money-O’Donnell spent one 20th of what Castle spent in the Primary yet won big. Delaware is a small state without big media markets. $1-2 million will get the job done in the hottest of races…vs $15-25 million in the big states. She can raise what she needs on her own even without NRSC help. Which, by the way, makes her even more independent in the Senate if she wins.

4. She’s Telegenic-Anyone who saw this mornings interviews can see how genuine and trustworthy she comes across. Also, lets be honest…one look and you can see she’s gonna get some extra male voter support over her opponent…just because.

5.Independent-People are looking for independent voices in Congress this year. The GOP establishment is in “sour grapes” mode right now. The irony is that the more they dismiss her the more they highlight her independence. Most Republican voters are looking for change. More than 50% of Independents polled nationwide this year consistently don’t want a Democrat. O’DONNELL IS ONE OF THE FEW US SENATE CANDIDATES NATIONWIDE THAT IS BELIEVABLY INDEPENDENT OF BOTH PARTY ESTABLISHMENTS.
