Why is Rick Santorum leading in Michigan

Although Mitt Romney is a self professed conservative there are a couple of questions that need to be answered:

1.  How can a self professed conservative get elected in a super liberal, blue state in Massachusetts without promising something that fits into the liberal agenda and mindset?  A-la the healthcare bill that he placed into effect. Telling everyone now that he vetoed 800 bills while governor is a joke in itself.  Why was he elected in that state is the question?

2.  Mitt Romney only lived in Michigan as a very young boy and left the state of Michigan for good.  Now he is portraying himself as a resident of the state.  Doesn’t hold water. His love of cars commercials while NOT supporting the industry while at Bain Capital is of suspect to say the least.

3.  He will never get around the fact that he went against GWB and George’s  support of helping the auto-makers and now is trying to “back-track” on this issue with the citizens of Michigan. Romney publicly stated that he would have let the auto companies fail.  Whether conservative or liberal……….his backtracking is a joke within the community.

4.  Question:  Is he a conservative or a liberal?  He says he is a conservative but why does he have to say this anyhow?

This questions and assesments of Romney are why Rick Santorum is going to win Michigan because he is not a self professed conservative but a practiced conservative with conservative ideologies.
