Dave Brat Wins Virginia House Race

Alexandria, VA — Senate Conservatives Fund President Ken Cuccinelli, made the following statement after conservative Dave Brat was declared the winner of the race for Virginia’s 7th Congressional District:

“As a fellow Virginian, Dave Brat’s victory tonight makes me very proud. Dave is a conservative leader who, against all odds, refused to back down from his conservative principles and won. We look forward to Dave’s service in Congress and his efforts to balance the budget, stop amnesty, and fully repeal Obamacare.”

SCF invested $135,000 supporting Dave Brat in this race – raising $89,000 in direct contributions for the Brat campaign and spending $46,000 on independent expenditures.
