Nuclear waste coming to a frack well near you.

Government consultation period into shale gas extraction has only five weeks to run.  If corporations get access to the land through the landowners, then the government wishes developers to be permitted to carry on and carry out exploratory drills without asking the Local Authority.  Known as ‘Permitted Development’.

Meetings at Councils all over Britain are universally against this happening.

Exploratory drills are a Trojan horse, however, as dumping toxic nuclear waste is already permitted development, for the last two years.  Local waste dumps can be enforced on local communities.  Once fracking drills are in place, then nuclear waste can be dumped down the well, without the government or corporations needing to obtain planning permission.
