Not Least The Ridiculous “Debate”/Slanging Match Of Last Eve.
I’m not so sure the population at large is quite as the creatures above. I say this based on the wonderful and emphatic 4% winning vote to leave the EUSSR in 2016. Even though I’m avoiding 95% of any MSM coverage, other than my biased daily Torygraph, I can still feel an undercurrent of alarm that this GE really just might be another 2016 moment.
The constant attacks on the Brexit party for a starter. A replay of the MEP vote campaign which slowly choked on its own dawning realisation the Establishment agenda was off track. As for this pathetic debate. As forecast by many, an hour of mud slinging, lies pitched against lies and two blokes desperate to gain votes on the strength of their less than adequate characters.
If the Torygraph headline is true, that Grandpa was jeered over his Brexit stance, that is a pointer to the misreading of the public mood suffered in 2016 and this year’s stupid MEP result. Indeed such is the manufactures dismissiveness by the PTB of any success for The people’s Brexit Party, I wonder if that is a veneer of concern for the opposite of the public utterances?
The BBC’s latest fear of an inoculation for us all to suffer, is of a hung Parliament, again. Well, if that were to come to pass but with a more Brexit representative Chamber, we could still see us leave the EUSSR’s clutches. Or at least carry on fighting to do so. If we still end up with a quisling, traitor, cheating and smug, self entitled lot as since 2016′s referendum, then I’ll be astounded and mortified.
What I do feel is the reality? Not just the population at large but hundreds of thousands of political “anoraks” feel and are doing as I. Ergo, switching off. The Parliament now disbanded a victory for all of us wishing the expediting of a the swamp draining process. One already with several high profile and ugly creatures flapping helplessly on the banks.
Grieve for one. His abject appearances these days a joy to behold. Add many other “placeniks”, who have sucked long and hard at the tax payers’ teats, Ken Clarke for one, Soubry another, hopefully finished for good. Their careers, such as they were, ending in ignominy. We can but hope but the chance is there and real.
So, even as this orchestrated, stale, boring and meaningless exercise drags on, we must reflect on the candidates. Bar the Brexit Party, the choice, where available only, is between two main candidates for PM. Bojo and Granpa. Just as with Trump and Killer Hillary, for many it’s a choice of the best of the worst. Like America, that Presidential election was between an unusual and in high places, despised Donald and their deep state puppet and grasping of any silver going, Hillary.
What did surprise was the grass root support and across the racial divides, gained by Trump. One might say the “people’s” billionaire! What, as with Brexit, shone in 2016 across our western populations, was that people realised they were being shafted by a deep state, JP Morgan headed, cabal.
This factor is now embedded in over one year of protest across France. Spain is in turmoil, the UK showing resistance to the break up of this centuries old Union that brought peace to these troubled Islands for so long. The Greek people won’t forget their enslavement to Brussels. The Italians are restless and angry. Poland and Hungary, even Germany beginning to become disgruntled.
If much of all this pent up anger and frustration fails to affect our vote in December or is lost in a fog of ballot rigging and fraud, it will still exist. So whatever is preached at us. Whatever fear mongering, smug, know all media hype and fake news is thrown around, we may, just may get a proper result! Here’s hoping! At least I’m missing most of the media rubbish.
Is that female duo Sturgeon and Swinson still about, by the way?
