Twitter 2FA text service was secretly helping governments locate people, obtain call logs

The cofounder of a Twitter 2FA text service is reported to have been secretly selling access to its networks to governments, enabling them to locate people of interest – and in some cases obtain their phone logs …

The company, Mitto AG, was used by Twitter to send text messages on its behalf, including security codes used for two-factor authentication (2FA). Twitter says that it is “transitioning” away from the company’s services, but appears not to have completely ceased using them as yet.

Bloomberg reports.

Twitter Inc. told a U.S. senator it is cutting ties with a European technology company that helped it send sensitive passcodes to its users via text message.

The social media firm said in a disclosure to U.S. Senator Ron Wyden, a Democrat from Oregon, that it is “transitioning” its service away from working with Mitto AG, according to a Wyden aide.

A co-founder of Mitto operated a service that helped governments secretly surveil and track mobile phones, according to former employees and clients.

One of the approaches said to have been used was exploiting known vulnerabilities in the mobile telecoms protocol Signaling System 7 (SS7). It has been known since at least 2016 that major security flaws in SS7 mean that it can be used to listen to your calls, read your texts, and track your position.

(Bottom line: Use Google Authenticator whenever possible until we find out how they screw us all over)

2. Dr. Luc Montagnier passed away yesterday. Reader’s of this site and RAIR Foundation will know that we have been subtitling his material since he first said that the virus was not natural and was probably made in the lab as part of the process of developing a vaccine. Of course he has been correct with all he said since the very start. But now the Legacy media is defecting on his memory and legacy by post-hoc or worse, post mortem slander of his work. Some of which, is the discovery of the HIV virus which got him the Nobel Prize in medicine.  The BBC calls his remarks about the mRNA injections, “Unscientific”. But they would never dare say that when he was alive. I hope another scientist can hold them to task for that remark publicly.

Think about what an American drug gang would do to protect its territory for a few city blocks from any threats to it. Then multiply that by a trillion dollar pharma co.

Dr. Montagnier was quite old and did not look good when he spoke in Italy recently. But the Haitian, and other African leaders who opposed the vaccines, those looked like Cartel hits to me.

On the other hand, he may be a tool used to pivot the narrative when needed. Most certainly the Democrat policy sales rag, The Atlantic is exactly used for that. And they want everything to open up. Gotta wonder why, since they are the band leader on all Covid measures. Its almost like, well its almost like there will be mid terms soon!

5. This is pretty big. I would ask you to watch this with your full attention, and give it the thought it deserves. Canadian Vet groups are asking other vets to step up to the plate and support the trucker and other legal and non-violent actions to take back our God given rights and freedoms. We have a chance ladies and gentlemen. The judiciary is with us so long as we remain within the law and legal right to protest. Carpe diem to carpe iura.
