Lot 34 - An American Sterling Silver Ice Bowl, ret. Ford & Tupper, New York, act. 1867-1874, in the form of an iceberg, each end mounted with cast model of a polar bear, marked on underside of bowl, height 7 in., width 9 7/8 in., depth 7 9/16 in., w eight 26 troy ozs.  [2000/3000]

Lot 70 - A Fine American Neo-Grec Rosewood, Marquetry, and Gilt-Incised Bedstead, c. 1875, attributed to Herter Bros., New York, the paneled headboard surmounted by an urn inlaid crest, flanked by fluted urns and scrolled inlaid wings; faceted posts, conforming low footboard with stylized flower inlaid reserve, paneled rails, turned disc feet, height 84 in., length 79 in., width 58 in.  [7000/10000]

Lot 104 - Clarence Millet, A.N.A. (American/New Orleans, 1897-1959), “Claiborne Court”, oil on canvas board, signed lower right, titled on backing paper, 15 7/8 in. x 17 5/8 in., framed.[8000/12000]

Lot 106 - Anne Wilson Goldthwaite (American/Alabama, 1869-1944), “Bouquet”, oil on canvas, signed lower left, signed and titled en verso, 34 in. x 29 1/8 in., in a carved and molded frame.  [3000/5000]

Lot 108 - Salvador Dali (Spanish, 1904-1989), “Imaginations and Objects of the Future”, 1975-1976, portfolio of 11 etchings with lithograph, screenprint and collage, edition EA XXII/ XXV (22 of 25) on Japon paper, signed in pencil, published by Merril Chase, Chicago and Alan Rich, New York, with cover page, table of contents, publisher’s preface, artist’s prologue, “Observations of the Future by Some Famous People” and colophon, complete with original wooden presentation box, sheet 30 1/4 in. x 22 1/4 in.  [8000/12000]

Lot 122 - Knute Heldner (Swedish/New Orleans, 1877-1952), “Plantation Louisiana”, oil on board, signed lower left, pencil-titled en verso, 19 7/8 in. x 15 7/8 in., framed.  [2,500/3,500]

Lot 131 - Clarence Millet, A.N.A. (American/New Orleans, 1897-1959), “French Quarter Scene”, 1919, oil on canvas laid down on board, signed and dated lower right, 14 1/2 in. x 9 7/8 in., unframed.[3500/4500]

Lot 139 - An Important American Renaissance Carved Walnut, Burled, Ebonized and Gilt-Incised Bedroom Suite, c. 1865, attributed to Thomas Brooks, New York, comprising a monumental bed, dressing chest and single door armoire; the bed with an arched crest centered by a cupid bust, above a flared and blocked cornice, burled oval panel and carved and incised columns flanked by leaf-carved scrolls and uprights with urn finials, paneled backboard, shaped foot board, conforming bracketed rails; the armoire and dresser en suite, each with maple interior; the dresser retaining original inset marble top, bed height 96 1/2 in., length 81 1/2 in., width 59 in.; armoire height 107 in., width 51 in., depth 27 in.; dresser height 106 in., width 48 in., depth 25 1/2 in.  [12,000/18,000]

Lot 143 - A Fine American Classical Carved Giltwood Pier Mirror, c. 1800-1815, probably Boston, blocked pediment with spherule drops, mica encrusted frieze with bas-relief scene of Alexander the Great confronting Diogenes, scroll pilasters; the later mirror plate flanked by reeded columns the base, height 53 1/2 in., width 35 in.  [3000/5000]

Lot 167 - French School, late 18th c., “An Allegorical Figure of Charity with her Children”, oil on canvas, unsigned, 38 1/4 in. x 31 1/2 in., in a good period carved and giltwood frame.[2000/3000]

Lot 178 - A Fine Pair of Meissen Porcelain Armorial Lidded Urns in the Manner of August Rex, 19th c., marked with underglaze blue crossed swords, stepped drum form bodies with entwined serpent handles and domed lids, finely painted with reserves of royal armorials with conjoined “AR” monogram, the lids with portrait medallions of a king and queen, each monogrammed “ERC” or “AERC” en verso, held by embracing swans, the reverses of the bodies reserved with trophies of hunting in elaborate gilt cartouches, the mid-section with finely painted hunt scenes, socle plinth bases molded with trophies of hunting, height 23 1/2 in.[3000/5000]

Lot 191 - A Louis XVI Gilt Bronze-Mounted and Lacquered Encrier a la Chinois, late 18th c., cartouche shaped Chinoiserie lacquer panel carved with a mythical beast amid capped waves, mounted with a gilt bronze seated Budai, flanked by gilt bronze mounted carved lacquer inkwells, raised on four cabriole legs, height 6 3/4 in., width 19 in., depth 14 1/8 in.  [4000/6000]

Lot 224 - A Mughal Celadon Jade Nilgai Head Handle, 18th c., pale celadon stone with areas of soft russet carved in the form of a long, arched neck tapering to a slightly lifted curved head bearing a gentle countenance, intricate incised detailing throughout, the base drilled to form a socket, height 4 5/8 in., mounted to a custom stand, overall height 5 1/4 in.  [5000/7000]
