A 100^th Master Mason, on New Mexico’s 100^th year as a State of the Union, and the 100^th year of the Santa Fe Scottish Rite Cathedral could end up castrated!  It is likely he will be blind folded, cloaked and lead at the points of fourteen swords into a coffin representing the Masonic connections to the Egyptian Book of the Dead.

“The Hiram Key: Pharaohs, Freemasonry, and the Discovery of the Secret Scrolls of Jesus” is a book by Masons about Masons; and their mythical lost Masonic King, who helped build the Temple of Solomon.  Men from Solomon’s Temple found Hiram’s dead body and symbolically raised the Master Mason from the dead using an Egyptian ritual that could have even been Eastern and thousands of years older according to the Hiram Key.

In Egyptian mythology, Set(h) tricked his brother Osiris into getting into a coffin.  He quickly sealed it and threw it into the Nile river.  Isis found the coffin, released Osiris who Set(h) then cut up into fourteen pieces and scattered them everywhere over all of Egypt.

Isis gathered all the pieces she could find but one.  The missing piece . . . his penis!  Once she revived Osiris again, with the help of Thoth (the baboon headed Egyptian god of Wisdom), Isis magically fashioned a new phallus and sat on it to conceive Horus.  Osiris becomes “the King of the Dead” after all of this and his son Horus loses his testicals . . . but that’s another story.

Perhaps the 31st degree Master Mason castration ritual on June 23rd, 2012 will only be symbolic?  Most men would cringe at the thought while many women have coincedentially daydreamed on that same thought.
