Start em Sit em Week 8
After watching 7 weeks of NFL games and answering hundreds of fantasy questions, there is only one thing that I am certain of. The New England Patriots and the San Francisco 49ers, the last two remaining undefeated teams, are on a destined collision course to face each other in Super Bowl LIV in Miami.
Now that I have your attention, let’s look at the numbers. Both teams boast elite defenses that may go down as the very best in each team’s long and storied history. The Patriots boast six Super Bowl titles to the 49ers five, but is entirely possible that things could even up at the end of the season.
Both teams just made trades yesterday to bolster their wide receiving core. The Pats surprisingly added Mohamed Sanu while the 49ers rescued Emmanuel Sanders from the sinking ship that is the Denver Broncos. While Sanu joins a crowded receiving room with many mouths to feed, Sanders instantly becomes the WR1 in San Francisco and one of the veteran leaders in the locker room.
It is only a matter of if, not when these two teams will meet head to head.In the NFL’s 100th season, it is only fitting that fans around the world get treated to a spectacle of such epic proportions.
Week 8 Start ’em Latavius Murray – Saints RB
With star running back Alvin Kamara nursing an ankle injury, Murray filled in admirably and saved the day for the Saints and his fantasy owners despite a less than ideal matchup against an elite Chicago Bears defense in Week 7.
The Saints have their Bye in Week 9, which leads me to believe they will opt to play it safe and keep Kamara out against the Arizona Cardinals who have been soft against the run. Murray should get all the carries he can handle which should result in another multiple touchdown performance in Week 8.
Latavius Murray Week 8 Projections: 25 rushing attempts, 137 rushing yards, 2 rushing TD’s, 6 receptions, 42 receiving yards, 1 receiving TD

Week 8 Sit ’em Odell Beckham Jr. – Browns WR
Beckham and the Browns offense have been disappointing to say the least, and get a nightmare matchup against the Patriots coming off their Week 7 Bye. Lately OBJ has been getting more attention for his uniform accessories than his on the field play which is never a good sign.
The Patriots just dismantled Sam Darnold and the Jets on MNF which doesn’t bode well the maligned wideout’s prospects in Week 8. Start Beckham as your WR1 if you must, but don’t be surprised if you start to see ghosts in your points total.
Odell Beckham Jr. Week 8 Projections: 3 receptions, 32 receiving yards, 1 fumble, 0 receiving TD’s
