Doug Ross Top 50 Fabulous Blogs

Thanks Doug Ross for the mention and award.  Appreciate it.  Points and Figures was put into his Top 50 Fabulous Blogs.   We will try and keep up the good work here.

The perspective of this blog is to try and use actual data to prove that statism and big government are incorrect approaches to today’s problems. Free markets work. People are smart enough to pick and choose for themselves.

In response to those that fear that corporate power is stronger than anything else, there is this new thing called the internet. It’s a more powerful force than any corporate publicity department. If you don’t like what a company is doing, put it on the internet. Give people a better alternative. When the company loses enough business, they’ll change.

The power of the individual, and preserving individual choice is a far better regulator than any bureaucrat in a government office. Coase works. He turns 100 this week.  Even after he passes away, his articulation of market ideas will continue to work.
