If You Think Taxes Should Be Raised, Read This
Today in Slate, there was an article on raising taxes. If you feel more patriotic paying more than what the government says you owe, there is a way to send it in. Can you really write a check to the government? You can. You can even designate which agency it goes to.
This is a great idea. We don’t have to vote to raise taxes, all we have to do is let it be known people can send more in. I am sure that donations will come rolling in from blue states. But, I bet they all try to claim it as a charitable deduction and will raise the eyebrows of the IRS!
