Wall, NJ: Trinity Financial Sports & Entertainment Management Company, LLC. has committed to a major sponsorship of the Freehold Open Space Pace, an event dedicated to preserving open space in New Jersey by increasing awareness of the Standardbred horse and the harness racing industry. The all-day racing event will be held on September 29, 2012, at Freehold Raceway.
“The Landy Family and the board members of the Open Space Pace have inspired me both as a resident of New Jersey and a standardbred owner to get fully behind what should become one of the biggest annual events in the state,” said Peter Grandich, founder of Trinity Financial Sports & Entertainment Management Co., LLC. “While it will be a fun-filled day, it is my sincere wish that policy-makers, elected officials and the good people of New Jersey realize how important horse racing is to keeping the ‘Garden State’ green.”

Events and activities planned for the first Open Space Pace include the downtown “Parade of Horses,” leading to an opening ceremony at Freehold Raceway, followed by amateur group harness racing, a celebrity race, under saddle racing, and the featured Open Space Pace race. The event will include educational programs, displays and participation by numerous area nonprofit organizations and advocacy groups. Free and open to the public, the day’s events will conclude with an outdoor concert performed by a nationally recognized band from Monmouth County.
