No sarcasm needed for the death of a fine actor and one that will be sorely missed by many of his fans, but wall to wall coverage on CNN?? What merits massive coverage on MSM? Near civil war/collapse in a country that borders the Winter Olympic games? How about currency collapses in countries like Argentina? Turkey? Venezuela? Riots in Pakistan? Civil war in Syria with tens of thousands of casualties? Increasing hostilities between two global behemoths that hate each other??? Take your pick China/Japan…USA/China….USA/Russia? Let’s not go to the rest of the Middle East.

Do I see the sheep reacting? Not really. They’ve been conditioned to see these events as the “norm”. The DOW can drop 300 pts in a day and the only reaction is a yawn. Uncle sugar will take care of it. The major car manufactures like Ford, Toyota, GM, can report massive car sales misses after channel stuffing and promos fail pitifully and we just brush off the reports as “weather related”. And we yawn. We here for hours after hours about Phillip Seymour Hoffman and what a loss it was to millions as their hero died as a junkie with a needle hanging out of his arm, while fighting valiantly for his fellow man while pumping Horse through his veins. Certainly the kind of icon this land of sheeple deserve. Another poor John Belushi hero to the “little guy”. Imagine giving a self-loathing, gluttenous star millions of dollars and they “overdose”. Unimaginable??? So why all of the time dedicated to this third-page story on a Super Bowl Sunday? I guess it just what the public demands??? 

A lot of questions but not a lot of answers. Just like all of the economist today seem to be having. Of course the precious metals trade remains throttled and will remain controlled until one day they move the panic to the next level. Then they’ll let the price run. How fare on this next leg up? Most likely 2200 this year before they cap it. gl
