RESAAS Services Inc taps former Microsoft executive Pierre Chadi as board chairman

RESAAS Services Inc (CVE:RSS), the real-estate focused technology group, has tapped Pierre Chadi as the chairman of its board, effective immediately.

Chadi, who joined the company’s board in May of 2017, previously spent 19 years as the director of the Eastern region with Microsoft Canada.

In addition to this, he has over 30 years of experience in technology enterprise sales and Software-As-A-Service Cloud offerings and also spent a stint as the former vice-president of investments of the $85 million Anges Quebec Capital Fund. He is also currently chairman of the board of Pivot 88, a Hong Kong-based supply chain SaaS company.

“We are thrilled to see Pierre Chadi move up to the role of Chairman,” said Tom Rossiter, CEO of RESAAS. “RESAAS is now well positioned for continued sales growth and new strategic opportunities. These are areas Pierre has decades of experience in.”

As part of the management changes, current director Taylor Thoen has resigned from her role on the board. Fellow director Simon Bodymore is also moving from the board to a role on the company’s advisory board and will focus on advising on tracking financial metrics for the company’s growth.

Chadi is an electrical engineering graduate of McGill University and has an MBA from the University of Ottawa.

RESAAS shares held steady at C$0.42 on Wednesday.
