Arizona Silver Exploration Inc (CVE:AZS) (OTCMKTS:AZASF) announced that a core drill rig is mobilizing to start an initial program on its 100% owned Philadelphia project – a high-grade gold and silver vein target located in Mohave County, northwestern Arizona – with drilling expected to commence September 30. In a statement, the Vancouver-based company pointed out that the drilling will see it step out 100 feet to the north from its previous drilling looking for a continuation of the high-grade vein which was intersected at 15.82 grams per tonne (gpt) gold (Au) and 90 gpt silver (Ag) over 3.1 metres thickness in hole PRC19-2, and 7.2 gpt Au and 50 gpt Ag across 3.1 metres in hole PRC19-1.

BioLargo Inc (OTCMKTS:BLGO) said Thursday that it has formed a strategic alliance with BKT Company Limited, including its US subsidiary Tomorrow Water, and the City of Daegu in South Korea to explore opportunities for the company’s technologies in the Asian country’s water and wastewater industry.  In a statement, the US company said the alliance’s initial focus would lie in getting South Korea’s wastewater treatment industry to utilize BioLargo’s CupriDyne Clean Industrial Odor and VOC Eliminator.

Capstone Turbine Corp (NASDAQ:CPST) revealed Thursday that its microturbines were installed in the new 67-story One Vanderbilt office tower next to Grand Central Terminal, as New York looks to reduce carbon emissions by 40% over the next decade. Capstone Turbine, which makes clean energy microturbines, is one of the many companies leading the charge in New York’s green energy revolution. The Van Nuys, California, company said that two energy-efficient Capstone C600 Signature Series microturbines were successfully hoisted onto the 56th floor of the new One Vanderbilt skyscraper.

The extraction process, known as “caustic crack,” received an energy-efficient overhaul, according to a statement released Thursday. Mineworx Technologies Ltd (CVE:MWX) (OTCMKTS:MWXRF) of Vancouver has granted 3.6 million stock options to directors, officers, employees and various consultants of the precious metals-extraction company. The options carry an exercise price of $0.105 per share and are valid for five years from the date of the grant, subject to vesting provisions.
