Empower Clinics Inc launches SoCal brand strategy for Sollievo CBD products

Empower Clinics Inc (CSE:CBDT) (OTCMKTS:EPWCF) announced the launch of an influencer-based product sales strategy for its Sollievo CBD line in southern California.

The company is canvassing the more than 170 dispensaries in Los Angeles county, sending in sales agents armed with Sollievo product samples. Empower reps are also visiting smoke shops, vape stores and a variety of retail locations that carry CBD products or have expressed an interest in doing so. 

“Establishing a retail presence in this area for our Sollievo CBD product lines gives us significant volume potential, but also provides crucial market feedback about branding, product quality and consumer adoption,” CEO Steven McAuley said in a statement. “Gaining direct market feedback by having our own sales agents on the ground is already proving beneficial.”

Empower’s Sollievo line includes CBD lotion, tinctures, spectrum oils, capsules, lozenges, patches, topical lotions, gel caps, e-drinks, hemp extract drops, and pet elixir hemp extract drops.

Additionally, the company provided investors with an update on its joint venture with Heritage Cannabis Holdings Corp (CSE:CANN) (OTCMKTS:HERTF) to produce hemp-derived CBD oils and formulated products. 

The companies are working on a definitive agreement, which the parties expect to announce in the near future.

The company said that Graeme Staley, a member of Heritage’s board, visited Empower’s new 5,000-square-foot facility in Sandy, Oregon along with CEO Steven McAuley. 

The companies believe operating in Oregon provides an economic advantage because of competitive facility and labor costs.
