NQ Minerals books revenues of nearly £16mln, as processing at Hellyer continues apace

NQ Minerals PLC (AQSE:NQMI)(OTCQB:NQMLF)(OTCQB:NQMIY)generated sales of £15.6mln during the six months to June 2020.

Pre-tax losses amounted to £18mln, after £14mln in financing costs were added to selling and distribution expenses and administrative costs.

The company had just over £2mln cash in the bank at the period end operations at Hellyer in Tasmania continued undergoing processing circuit modifications, and production rates have been increased further to 165 tonnes per hour at the end of September 2020.

An average annualised production rate of 1.23mln tonnes per year for the months of July and August 2020 has been achieved, a significant increase from the first quarter of 2020.
