Sanatana Resources Inc (CVE:STA) has announced that IAMGOLD Corporation (TSE:IMG) (NYSE:IAG) has waived its right of first refusal in connection with the previously-announced sale of its Watershed Royalty to Ely Gold Royalties Inc (CVE:ELY) (OTCQX:ELYGF). The Watershed assets surround IAMGOLD’s Coté gold project in Ontario.

Loncor Resources Inc (TSE:LN) (OTCQX:LONCF) (FRA:LO51) has entered into two new agreements with its joint-venture partner Barrick Gold Limited in the Ngayu gold belt in the northeast of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In a statement Wednesday, Loncor said the ground covered by these agreements includes a number of priority exploration targets already outlined by Barrick, two of which are ready for initial scout core drilling. Total acreage under the various Barrick/Loncor joint ventures in Ngayu now totals about 2,000 square kilometres (km).

Co-Diagnostics Inc (NASDAQ:CODX) (FRA:C97) revealed on Wednesday that a company whitepaper demonstrates that its CoPrimer platform technology can be used to identify the presence of SARS-CoV-2 in human saliva samples without first requiring RNA extraction of the sample, and can do so while providing low limits of detection. The Salt Lake City, Utah-based molecular diagnostics company said the technical advance featured in the whitepaper, was the result of a study into the compatibility of CoPrimer technology with detection of SARS-CoV-2 directly from raw saliva.

Mawson Gold Limited (TSE:MAW) (OTCPINK:MWSNF) (FRA:MXR) has described the discovery of high-grade gold at the Joki East prospect at its giant Rajapalot project in Finland as a ‘game changer’. On Wednesday, the company reported assays from two of eight holes sunk at Joki East, but noted that visible gold had been identified in four of them. One of the two holes hit an impressive 1.6 metres (m) at 28.3 grams per ton (g/t) gold from a depth of 168.6m. In all, 11 diamond holes were drilled in the Autumn program, with eight at Joki East and two at the Hirvimaa zone, while one was abandoned, Mawson revealed.

Vuzix Corporation (NASDAQ:VUZI) (FRA:V7XN) announced Wednesday it has recently received multiple follow-on orders for its M400 Smart Glasses from Dutch medical services company 1Minuut Innovation. The latest orders from 1Minuut are for immediate delivery to elderly care organizations to meet urgent COVID-19 remote healthcare needs in The Netherlands.

Humanigen, Inc (NASDAQ:HGEN) (FRA:0KB2) Wednesday announced that it has ended its third quarter with $91.4 million in cash and equivalents after raising around $72.7 million in a Nasdaq public offering and uplisting in September. The company announced positive interim Phase 3 data recently on lenzilumab to treat patients hospitalized with COVID-19, with an estimated 37% more recoveries observed in the lenzilumab arm of the randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blinded study versus current standard of care. 

Revive Therapeutics Ltd. (CSE:RVV) (OTCMKTS:RVVTF) said it has achieved a development milestone for the orally dissolvable thin film strip for psilocybin being developed under a research partnership agreement with Reed Research Group out of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The specialty life sciences company, focused on the research and development of therapeutics for medical needs and rare disorders, said that following several months of prototyping on a wide range of dosage forms, it has completed an oral thin-film strip product with psilocybin with dosage forms ranging between 1 milligram (mg) and 20 mg and demonstrating its versatility through physio-chemical characterization (e.g. tensile strength of films) of bio comparable tannin-chitosan composite materials, dissolution and disintegration testing, and rate of psilocybin release from composites. The firm noted that currently technical and scientific data is being processed and finalized.

Endeavour Mining Corporation (TSE:EDV) (OTCQX:EDVMF) (FRA:E5Y1), an ambitious gold producer focused on West Africa, confirmed that it is in discussions with Canada-based Teranga Gold Corp (TSE:TGZ) (OTCMKTS:TGCDF) (FRA:0TGA) regarding a potential merger of equals.  Reuters reported on Tuesday that a merger, if it proceeds, would mark the latest in a series of deals involving the gold-rich region. The news agency said that Endeavour, which is 24.12% owned by Egypt’s Sawiris family, has been on the “acquisition trail this year” as gold prices gained on the back of global stimulus. 

HealthLynked Corp (OTCQB:HLYK) announced Wednesday the addition of Arthrex Vice President Dan Hall as a director, effective immediately. CytoDyn Inc (OTCQB:CYDY) announced Wednesday that it has gone through a second non-dilutive convertible debt offering with an institutional investor, delivering $25 million of immediately available capital for the company’s license applications and coronavirus (COVID-19) trials. The note has a two-year maturity, bears interest at the rate of 10% annually and is secured by all assets of the company, excluding its intellectual property. The note may be converted into shares of common stock at a price of $10.00 per share.
