What Republicans Willfully Losing Georgia Really Means

Republicans in Georgia blew it.  Turnout was less than the Presidential election in an election that probably has higher consequences ex post facto.

The Senate would have been a check and balance on the crazy.

People will focus on the things that will happen:

• Socialized Medicine
• Higher personal income and corporate income taxes
• New Middle East policy replicating the failed policy of the past
• Green New Deal which isn’t needed

However, the biggest thing that will happen which will be massively damaging to the union of the United States is a bail out of profligate spending blue states.  Illinois, New Jersey, New York, and California will use their political muscle to force the administration and Congress to bail them out.

They will use the guise that they are important to American GDP.  Other states will line up to grab the crumbs.  What really is happening is a massive transfer of wealth from taxpayers in most of the US to taxpayers in a few states.

That means if you voted Democrat in a state like Rhode Island, you are going to send your tax dollars to those states.

Republicans that are unwilling to fight will continue to be losers.  You don’t hold power and make policy by losing elections-especially big ones.  See the Illinois Republican Party, or the NY Republican Party, or the California Republican Party. Marginalized, feckless and rudderless.

States like Texas, Florida, and Wisconsin which are well run will have to finance the bail out while getting no benefit.

Why would you send tax dollars to Washington DC to bail out another state?
