Love Hemp unveils trio of senior management appointments

Love Hemp Group PLC (LON:LIFE) (OTCQB:WRHLF) has announced three senior management appointments, all of which will become effective immediately.

The cannabidiol (CBD) and hemp products supplier said it has appointed James Martin as its chief operating officer in order to implement the brand’s global strategy and manage the firm’s growth strategy. Martin has 15 years’ experience driving large-scale strategic operational excellence and business transformation programmes and has previously worked for a range of companies including Shell, Vodafone, GlaxoSmithKline, and PwC.

Meanwhile, Love Hemp said Anna Legge will become its chief communications officer and will manage all external stakeholder engagement including investor relations, corporate media communications and environmental, social and governance reporting. Legge previously served as director of communications of SolGold PLC (LON:SOLG) and has also worked at a large international communications agency advising companies such as Mulberry, Centrica, Bunnings and UP Global Sourcing.

The final appointment is Martin Healy as chief growth officer, who will drive Love Hemp’s international growth and commercial relationships and allow chief commercial officer Adam Pritchard to focus on expanding the group’s UK market presence. Healy was previously head of advertising, sales and partnerships at The Walt Disney Group and has also worked as commercial director for ESPN in the Middle East.
