We eat TONS of fruits and veggies in my home. TONS. I am one of those “mean moms” that forces my kids to eat healthy, nutritious snacks rather than sugar-laden, processed junk. We’ve had the chance to check out all these products recently. I have to say, I am pretty impressed! 

​We keep larger fruits and veggies in the Debbie Meyer GreenBags®. Peaches, plums, apples, bananas, and even potatoes seem to have a longer life when they’re stored in these bags. We’ve noticed a lot less waste, and our produce seems to get a lot less “mushy” spots. 

The thing I like most about Debbie Meyer GreenBags® is that they are reusable. These BPA free bags can be used 8-10 times each, and come in a package of 20. They are thin, but not flimsy. After they’re used, you can simply wash them out, let them dry, and then add more produce to them. Easy, peasy! 

We also love Debbie Meyer GreenBoxes™. These have TONS of uses! I like to store berries in mine, or maybe a small peach or three. These boxes are easy to clean, easy to store, and they definitely help preserve freshness. One neat thing about Debbie Meyer GreenBoxes™ is that they can be used for so much more than produce! We store baked goods in them, or even leftovers. Versatility at its finest! 

We did get to try both the Debbie Meyer OvenBags for Roasting and the Debbie Meyer Grilling Bags. These were used during the events that followed my Papa’s funeral. There was a LOT of family in town, which meant some serious cooking going on.

We used the Debbie Meyer OvenBags for Roasting to make some fantastically juicy chicken, and the grilling bags were used to make both BBQ chicken and some grilled veggies. Unfortunately, I was too busy crying to get any photos of the finished products there, but they both worked well and definitely produced some incredibly juicy, flavorful foods with a lot less mess. 

Overall, we’re definitely very impressed with our Debbie Meyer experience. These products are absolutely genius, and help solve common problems we all face, like tackling food waste, saving money, and keeping our foods fresher, longer. I would definitely recommend checking them out!
