We did! 

We decided to celebrate the end of summer by hitting up one of our local wading pools before it closes for the season. We’ve got several big, 1 ft. deep pools at various parks, and the kids always have a blast. Sure, it’s only a foot deep…But a lot of fun can be had in that 12 inches of cool water! When we arrived at the park, the kids played on the playground for awhile because the pool was being cleaned. We hit the swings, the slides, and the jungle gym, which worked up a couple of appetites.

When Sophie and Xander wanted a little snack, we headed to the picnic area to much on some Go Organically Fruit Snacks. We brought both Tropical and Wild Berry flavors, and the kids absolutely LOVED them!

Next it was time for some splish-splashing fun in the wading pool. Sophie and Xander had a wonderful afternoon full of water shenanigans while Dan and I chatted away on one of the many benches surrounding the water.
