LG X Cam with Dual Back Cameras Launches in India

LG has launched a new handset in the mid-ranged category. The company has unveiled its X Cam smartphone and is posing new threats against the likes OnePlus and leading giants. The superb dual-optic device has been priced at INR 19,990 and will be hitting the shelves in Titan Silver avatar starting from Friday.

LG X Cam looks good, but its dual-camera setup is the biggest thing of interest. The device offers two rear camera sensors with 13 and 5 megapixels and an aperture as wide as f/2.0. The second rear camera comes with a wide angle lens and they both work nicely, even in low-light conditions. The front-facing snapper bears an 8-megapixel sensor and is a decent pick for selfie-fanatics.

And not just enhanced hardware, LG X Cam also boasts a new Pop-out feature that combines the shots taken by the standard and wide angled shooter and creates a picture-in-a-frame effect. Panorama View automatically scrolls a wide image and Signature feature enables users to add a caption to the photo.

LG X Cam Design and Internals

LG X Cam comes with 3D Arc glass design and a beautiful 5.2-inch full-HD In-cell display. It endows picture-perfect visuals and deploys MediaTek’s MT6753 processor at 1.14GHz. The octa-core chipset throttles at a nice speed and handles moderate gaming and multi-tasking with Mali-T720MP3 GPU, 2 gigabytes of memory, and 16 gigs of on-board storage. There’s also a microSD card slot that allows users to expand storage up to 2TB.

LG has given everything to X Cam, even the taste of Android Marshmallow. Though it runs a custom skin atop, there’s nothing in the UI that lets us down. It runs smoothly and there’s no bloatware to eat your precious on-board storage. In fact, LG has also packed a bunch of modern connectivity options with this handset. The device runs on a moderate 2,520 mAh battery and works incredibly well with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, A-GPS, MicroUSB, and a 3.5mm audio jack. FM Radio comes with RDS and sensors like proximity, accelerometer, and magnetometer upgrade the entire smartphone experience terrifically.

In this price bracket, LG X Cam is one of the lightest phones, measuring on the scale at just 118 grams.
