Saturday Is Gospel Tract Delivery Day, Then We Hit The Streets To Preach The Gospel Of The Grace Of God To The Saved And Lost Alike

This is me today at our local post office, taking this week’s gospel tract orders to be delivered around the country and around the world.

Today was a typically beautiful and typically perfect day to go downtown to the streets of America’s oldest city, Saint Augustine, to preach the gospel of the grace of God to saved people, lost people, and backsliders who need to be reminded to come home.

“I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.” 2 Timothy 4:1,2 (KJV)

The photo at the top of the article is me at our local post office, taking this week’s gospel tract orders to be delivered around the country and around the world. It makes me so happy see the Lord using NTEB to be an encouragement to believers world wide in helping to get the gospel out in these closing moments of the last days before the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church takes place.

A few months ago we published a video on our YouTube channel showing you what it’s like, from the street preacher’s perspective, to preach the gospel on the streets. It was so well received that I thought a “part #2” might be in order. Here now is that video:

Back On The Streets Of Saint Augustine With The Gospel Of The Grace Of God

This is Part #2 in our series of what it looks like when you street preach on the gospel of the grace of God. Real people, real reactions, this is what front line personal work looks and sounds like. Has the Lord called YOU to preach the gospel? Every preacher in the Bible, from the OT to the NT were all street preachers. That’s where you start if you’ve been called to preach.

If you could go back in time 2,000 years to first century Christianity, the clothes would be different and the languages would be different, but the people would be the same and so would the message. This is the way the God has ordained it to be, preached simply but powerfully, in a clear presentation that even a child could grasp. Gospel tracts are an excellent way for the people you preach to to have a ‘reference card’ when they think back later on what they heard you say.

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)

We handed out around 300 tracts today, and only about a half dozen of them were rejected, as you can see here in this photo below. But even in their rejection of the gospel call, they couldn’t bring themselves to throw them in the trash. Why? Because they gospel is alive, and powerful, and a truly sharp and convicting sword as the Bible declares.

How Frank Jenner With Gospel Tracts And One Simple Question Forever Changed Thousands Of Lives

I can think of no greater example of how much God can and will use simple, saved men and women to go out on the streets with gospel tracts and tell people about the Saviour. The Frank Jenner story is like none other. If this doesn’t inspire and motivate you to hand out gospel tracts, nothing will!
