Nteb Radio Bible Study: Part 11 Of The Prophecies Of Isaiah – Selah Petra

Tonight’s study in the end times prophecies of Isaiah will feature a special focus on Selah Petra, the place where God will hide the Jewish remnant during the time of Jacob’s trouble.

The prophet Isaiah gives us an amazing book on many levels. The Bible has 66 books and Isaiah has 66 chapters. The Old Testament ends after 39 books with the book of Micah and goes into the New Testament, and Isaiah switches gears after the 39th chapter in his book as well. In fact, the switch that Isaiah makes is so startling that many of the Laodicean Bible ‘scholars’ have wondered if someone else wrote it. This of course is not true, you just have to be a Bible believer to be able to follow the flow.

“Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion. For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon. Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth. Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land. And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.” Isaiah 16:1-5  (KJV)

On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we will be taking a deep-dive into the many prophecies of the end times that God gave Isaiah and examine them in the light of where we are right now on the last days timeline. Isaiah prophesied about the both the First and Second Comings, the time of Jacob’s trouble, the Antichrist, the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ and the Temple that will exist during that thousand year time period. If you haven’t spent much time in the book of Isaiah, you might be more than a little surprised about just how much end times prophecy he wrote about. This is part 11 in a series, and tonight’s study will have a special focus on Selah Petra, the hiding place of the Jewish remnant in the time of Jacob’s trouble.

Isaiah is oftentimes called the ‘prince of the prophets’ and indeed he does seem to have the ‘inside track’ with God to a very high degree. Isaiah’s book is laid out in its 66 chapters very much the way that the entire Bible is laid out in its 66 books.
