A Prison Yard Out Of Control With ‘Contraband, Fatal Stabbings And Suicides’ Returned To Normal Operation After Bibles From NTEB Given To Every New Inmate

Thousands of free King James Bibles are going out to jails and prisons all across America thanks to NTEB’ers across the country and around the world

The email we received on April 19th read as follows: “Dear Geoffrey, We have had contraband issues, stabbings with deaths, and suicides. I have prayed all over this yard and started handing out your Bibles to EVERY new inmate over the last month. We came back up to normal operations today! Praise Jesus! Keep up the amazing work. You are blessed now and forever more for your prison outreach and NTEB program. Your brother in Christ, Chaplain Jeff Laird”

Well, praise the Lord, if that doesn’t get you to shouting, nothing will!

“Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?” Jeremiah 23:29 (KJB)

You may remember Chappy Laird from back in September of 2022, when he reached out and told us that the North Fork Correctional Center, the largest prison in Oklahoma needed 2,000 Bibles. Thanks to your prayers and financial support, we sent him those Bibles, and here in 2023 they’re already bearing ‘fruit and much fruit’ for the Lord. What a blessing it was to hear that by giving every new inmate a Bible it reversed the tide of trouble that had been building. Please pray for Chappy Laird and the work the Lord has called him to do there in Oklahoma.

Four days ago, Chaplain Todd Herbert from the Sebastian County Adult Detention Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas, wrote and asked if we could send him 400 King James Bibles. We told him absolutely yes, and that order is processing as you read this. Do you want to know what comment I hear most after we tell people who write that we can send the Bibles? In nine out of ten cases, they tell us that NTEB was the only one willing to send them the Bibles they needed. Imagine that. In addition to that, we are sending 100 Bibles to Pastor Marko Andati Ngaira in Africa, and 100 Bibles to street preacher Felix Pinto in India.

We are able to do these things because you pray for this ministry, and because you support it financially. If the Lord has prospered you, prayerfully consider sending us a generous donation as the requests are coming in nearly every day now. The Lord has also put on my heart to build a warehouse with a shipping center so we can control every step of the process, but honestly that would take well over a million dollars to do. So please pray about that with me, as I believe the Lord will do it. It is exciting and intimidating at the same time. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. We have a Gospel Billboard program. We are now broadcasting Bible studies, Podcasts and a Sunday Service 5 times a week, thanks to your generous donations.
