The government cannot lock up productive citizens, you know the ones that have a skill, work and make up the middle class. If the government throws all the people who are a threat in jail, it will be the same people greasing the wheels of this economy you cant replace skilled labor with a welfare recepient, at leat not by the thousands all at once, the economy cant take a shock to a system that is designed to operate at “everything is needed right now”, the system cannot stand a hicup and when business/manufacturing goes down so does our econbomy and police dont work for free.
