Recharge Resources (CNSX:RR): Ekosolve Lithium Technology and Future Plans

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

In this exclusive interview, we sit down with Phil Thomas, QP and Project Geologist at Recharge Resources Ltd (CNSX:RR, OTCMKTS:RECHF), a leading Canadian mineral exploration company focused on the development of high-value battery metals for the electric vehicle and fuel cell markets. Join us as we discuss recent company updates, including exciting results from their 2022 DDH3 drill program at the Pocitos lithium brine project in Salta, Argentina, where brine samples containing 161 ppm lithium are being converted into battery-grade lithium carbonate.

Recharge Resources is utilizing the innovative Ekosolve 10-stage extraction process to produce lithium chloride, a key component in the offtake LOI with Richlink Capital’s clients. The company is now taking further pre-engineering steps to convert the Pocitos lithium brines into lithium carbonate. This is a significant milestone in their goal to build a 20,000-tonne Ekosolve lithium extraction plant at the Pocitos project, supplying Richlink Capital Pty. Ltd. with up to 20,000 tonnes of lithium chloride/carbonate annually under a previously announced LOI of offtake.

We also explore Recharge Resources’ recent option agreement with Spey Resources Corp., which allows the company to acquire up to a 100% undivided interest in the Pocitos 2 Project. This 532-hectare lithium brine project is strategically located just outside Salta, Argentina, and is contiguous to the company’s ongoing operations on the Pocitos salar.

Lastly, we discuss the current lithium market, the sensitivity of the Ekosolve technology to lithium prices, and how these factors will impact Recharge Resources’ future plans.
