In this video we note the time it takes Gold to breakout after a Fed rate hike cycle. We look at the past 5 rate hike cycles. We mark the peak in Gold around the start of the rate hike cycle and then the time it takes Gold to surpass that high.
If Gold were to breakout in April or May it would mark the fastest time to breakout in the last five cycles. If Gold required another few months or more time it would align well with the history of the 2000s.
