Reclaimed Cabinet From Airplanes: Aero 1946 Project
This is very cool two people, a dental technician and a tech historian, started taking a part an old airplane and reusing parts to make various pieces of furniture. Dubbed the AERO -1946 Project, they are combining the old with the new in a neoclassical look. Apparently they get together once a week and learn to weld and work with aluminum.

Upcycled cabinet, made with an old aircraft door from a Siebel Si 204. a Siebel Si 204 was used as the starting point for a cabinet . Based on the yellow fuselage band can be seen that this particular aircraft was used for blind flying training sometime between 1940 and 1945. The door was found in the basement of an old Haauses in the former GDR and was severely deformed , welds were partially open.
