Small "TAR MATS" found today North Ormond Bch. Fl. East Coast. "PICS"

Ormond Beach Fl.

It is July 6th 2010 and I had not been to the beach in Ormond for a couple of days.

In the afternoon I went to the North Shores of Ormond Beach were I found these tar mats.

I did not have to walk far to keep finding them. They are black sticky, flexible, and will rub brown on the fingers when handling them.

I also took a few pictures of an unusual dark substance in the water, sands washing ashore turning the beach dark. It was not there last week and my picture last week can attest to that.

Here is a picture that I could see colors in the thin waters as it receded to the ocean ??
You be the judge!

Foot Prints in the sand and look at the dark stuff that builds up around them with the first wave.

My report last week was framed on the findings of some crabs dead and Jelly fish with a strange milky stuff in the waters.
You can find that report here with pictures….

Today I was unlucky to find more dead creatures but this time along the Halifax River that is the Inland Waterway where the mouth comes to the Ocean in Port Orange, just a few miles south.
There were numbers of Blue Crabs and most all I saw seemed to be small to adolescent.

Also at the Beach more dead Box/Ghost Crabs

Too many to take pics of the ones I saw.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAewnywj3yc Pensocola Beaches. I don’t see how oil made it over to the east side of Florida and also quite a bit north already? I’d say it’s fake pictures but obviously that does not seem to be the case. If this is true a big wtf and how did the oil get there?

    • xdrfox

It’s all being moved by the Gulf Stream, It has been documented from the firsts weeks of the spill it would get in the Gulf Stream and go as far as New Foundland and even to the UK and beyond ! No, you most likely won’t see it on the news.

    • Banana Jim

Gulf Stream reportedly moves at an average of 4 miles per hour, or 100 miles per day. Quick math: how far does the oil go in 78 days?

    • xdrfox

It also moves 400,000 cubic ft. of water per second !

    • xdrfox

Just called The News Jounal and Talked to Jullie and she called back after talking to her editor and said these couldn’t be from the Spill… She saw no pictures, nothing.

It has been reported in Coco Bch. too just south of here !

    • Decode the World

Correcto, Anonymous. Even though it seems to move slowly, it’s going 24/7…. and so is the flow. The numbers get big in a hurry.

The dispersant’s will be in the water ahead of visible oil !

I have been riding the Loop a roadway that goes around a large area for bikers to ride to site-see, and Folks, the birds that used to be in the wetland and tributaries are gone, High Bridge there are “no” small birds running along the edges of the shore, it is eerie, sad, and makes one angry that the smaller life’s are disappearing as each day goes by, the next will be the larger life birds. When I bring it up to people and they look around and say, WTF, where are the birds ? Only crow, blackbirds, Jay scrubs and a few large birds not the hundreds of small birds eating from the shorelines anymore.

I found some tar balls also on July 8th, 2010 on the beach off Neptune Avenue in Ormond. Also saw black sand on beaches and photographed what I have. What worries me is that I have had a headache off and on for a month, and wonder if they are spraying at night offshore. Particularly bad on the last three Saturdays (now July 24) Yesterday I woke up so congested I could hardly breathe. Anyone else having symptoms?

    • xdrfox

Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, July 25, 2010 11:21… Yes the headache off and on for a month….I have mine too, started in the second week of May and steady for 2 weeks then again a week later and off and on again…Get real sleepy in middle of day for no reason ??…Shortness of breath common too ! The wind is carry it from Gulf Winds to East Coast also,,, Worrisome is many of these VOC’s have same symptoms.. Benzene and Methane not sure about the Corexit but this is not good. The headache are not normal, they are deep within…not severe but annoying,,,I had not had a headache in at lest 12 years but never this kind..I am sure we are being espoused to VOC’s and the Gov. can not handle a large evacuation of millions of people and BP would never pay for it anyway. The spaying and gusher is stopped for the most part but the waters are going to be the next problem, poisons leaching into the Aquifer will become polluted so there will be no safe water supply !
