When you eat only three times a day, you are creating large gaps of time in which your body is not receiving the needed nutrients. This is more detrimental to women because men have a higher level of testosterone.
A proper diet is vital if you want to get the most out of building muscle. Exercise is something that a large number of women love to do yet they cannot seem to get what they want out of it. Too many times it is the diet that is hindering the journey. It is extremely important that your muscles receive protein in order to grow. This is the most important muscle building material. Diet should include lots of high protein foods like fish, chicken, and protein shakes for all women. Most women would give advice from their trainer that informs them that a good diet includes a large breakfast in the morning, and a high protein high fat combination diet at bedtime. It is often easier to maintain this type of diet as part of a program that offers support and supervision.
