% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Florida, USA – With the launch of the Big Book, it is expected that alcoholics and addicts are going to get a lot of help by learning how to become sober and why they shouldn’t make alcohol the first choice in their life. Those who are new to Alcoholics Anonymous will get to understand how unique this book is. It has been published in a step-by-step manner so people who need guidance to get away from alcohol can read the book and implement the lessons in their personal life.

The first part of the book, particularly the first 164 pages, deals with how one can achieve sobriety. One of the best things about the Big Book is Amethyst Recovery Center has released a reading guide for every chapter. When an alcoholic is reading the book for the first time or if he/she is new to Alcoholics Anonymous, it can be easier to understand the book. Since the first part is about how to achieve sobriety, it is important that the readers pay attention to every chapter.

The eleventh chapter of the book is called “A Vision for You” (Learn more about it here). It deals with what the vision of an addict or an alcoholic could be when he or she achieves sobriety. The chapter is a silver lining for those who can’t think of anything apart from drinking. It is a chapter that can help a person come to the same conclusion as others who have achieved sobriety.

There are numerous stories from alcoholics who came out clean. They have shared their experiences that will be helpful for the people who are reading the book for the first time and want to come out of their addiction for good. There is an integral part of the book called “There is a Solution” where the method of recovery have been clearly written down. Even people who do not have any religious beliefs will be guided into a path of spirituality after they have finished reading the book.

The fact that the Big Book is divided into easy chapters is what makes it so unique. From the twelfth chapter onwards, readers will be able to learn how they can attain spirituality and what impact it will have on their life. There are chapters where readers can learn about working with others and why it is essential to permanently overcome alcoholism.

Overall, the Big Book is going to be a benefit to those who are eager to become sober. It is a well-written book that is not just a guide to leading a sober life, but it also gives an insight on people who have already come out clean.

About Amethyst Recovery Center: Recovering from alcohol or drug addiction can be tough, but Amethyst Recovery Center provides resources that may be able to help. AA brainwashes everybody who goes there to tell themselves that they are alcoholics over, and over again, and again… The big book of horse sht tells people to say that they are powerless against this disease. Even after 20 years of not drinking alcohol they have the people telling themselves that they are alcoholics!!! I can think of many, many other things to tell myself when I’m trying to break a bad habit pattern! But after years of not touching a drop of that sht the only thing that makes it a habit is the fact that people are telling themselves they are still an alcoholic!!! Just pointing out some of the insidious lies they have us all believing.

      Poor religionists.

Tortured to by demons to over drink, until they learn to overcome religionist narcissism.

One of the problems with classical sobriety is that our brains tell us we are fixed and can start drinking again, as long as we keep it moderate. But we know that is false – this “experiment” has been conducted millions of times over the last couple of centuries. The results are almost universally tragic: You slip right back to your old ways in record time. You often progress beyond where you left off. That is why us AA folks say that we are only one drink from a relapse. It is to remind us that we can’t beat the odds and start drinking again.

AA doesn’t give their numbers out on the failed attemps

and since it is a self help based on God, it utterly fails.

What we continue to allow, will continue to happen. AA only suggests to follow these steps, there are a lot of people in the group that feel reliving their last drunk is what keeps them sober today, personally I was in a “Dry Drunk” for over 20 years and the program helped me realize sobriety depends on my spiritual condition. Personally I introduce myself as (Name Alcoholic) I don’t say that I am one I just acknowledge the reason I am there. The program today compared to what it was 20 to even 50 years ago does not beat you up, or condemn you to misery, maybe some people have gone to groups that don’t have any compassion, I feel sorry for them.
