President Trump becomes poster-boy for Big-Pharma

It has been announced that President Trump…tested positive for COVID-19 and has been moved to the Walter Reed military medical facility as a precaution due to his age and health profile. 

At the moment, there’s no specific regimen that has been approved in the United States or the world to treat COVID-19. But with President Donald Trump being diagnosed with the illness, it has prompted medical experts from the establishment to come up with a treatment protocol that includes a mixture of antiviral, immunity-stimulating and experimental antibody medicines. Did President Trump just become the poster-boy for two of Big-Pharma’s COVID-19 therapies not yet approved by the FDA? 

Here’s the breakdown of Trump’s anti-coronavirus treatment:

Antibody cocktail REGN-COV2: This experimental antibody drug is being developed by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and is a combination of two human antibodies neutralizing the virus immediately after the injection. Although the drug has not yet been peer-reviewed, it is referred to as “promising” by researchers from the Oxford-based Recovery trial, and the by the top US wizard virologist Dr. Anthony Fauci. – The company also developed the drug Regeneron, a similar antibody medication against Ebola.

Remdesivir: The antiviral drug Remdesivir known as Veklury in the United States. Developed by biopharmaceutical company Gilead Sciences, (where Donald H. Rumsfeld of the Iraqi war, was a former board member – 1997-2001). The drug is administered by injecting directly into the vein and is said to be most effective when given in the early stages of coronavirus. (BattleForWorld: The drug sounds like an updated form of hydroxychloroquine, under patent, where the drug company can charge more.)

Famotidine: Sold over-the-counter in the US under the brand name Pepcid, this is an anti-heartburn medication. Often compared with “Ranitidine”, which is weaker. Officially, the drug is not proved to treat COVID-19.

Vitamin D: A fat-soluble vitamin compound responsible for helping with the immune’s system response to COVID-19, and according to Dr. Fauci “if you are deficient in vitamin D, that does have an impact on your susceptibility to infection.”

Zinc: A mineral supplement that plays a role in immune defense against the coronavirus.

Aspirin: The anti-inflammation drug for pain and fever relief. It is believed to be effective in reducing the severity of heart attacks.

Melatonin: A hormone nutrient that regulates the sleep cycle.

There it is, the treatment regimen for President Trump to relief him of the coronavirus.
