What Is Medicine? Why Is it so Un-Natural...?

What’s medicine? A source tells that medicine is a substance which specifically promotes healing when ingested or consumed in some way. Further I think that the word “medicine” should not be used same as the word ”pharmaceuticals”, because medicine is older word used when we didn´t have a pharmaceutical industry. It was later then we began strange research that led us to chemical pharmaceuticals.

Not working medicine was invented and made because of the development mostley under 20th centuary. In the beginning of last centuary 1912 there was the international opium convention that started restriction of “drugs” like pain relieving morphine. It started a wave that was about controlling every aspect of drugs like manufacturing, import, export and so on. This continued thereafter with UN in 1971 Convention on Psychotropic Substances, wanting countries to control more of psychoactive “drugs” like barbituars, benzodiazepines, etc. This made too much control and made the pharma companies to do pharmaceuticals and “medicine” not so potent. Before they used stronger medicine found in plants doing better effect. I dont mean that all drugs should be all legal and all was good before. But I argue that it can be be a renaissance of medicine if they could do research like they should and just find out the right dosage of a active substance and then make good medicine (Good Standard Medicine). Nowadays medicine knowledge of plants go wasted and lost because of wrong minded researchers, physicians, doctors, politicians and so on… 

After the UN began its control of drugs (incl medicine) they ended up on lists. You can find out working drugs/medicine and other on two list, the green and the yellow list. The green list is for monitoring 144 psychotropic subtances and the yellow is for monitoring 134 narcotic drugs. (UN Link) Both lists contains working drugs/medicine that got classfied and taken off markets because how they worked. Several of them could probably be researched on and used when needed.

If we continue go further and think about medicine (more traditionally), you find plants and figure out which one doing what. After that is done you go on and find out what’s effective in them to treat different disease or conditions in individuals/humans. To make them more effective you enhance the working substance from the plant with more of the same. If you concentrate the active substance you could try to enhance something by just have a concentrated amount of something. As long as you don´t change the substance badly this shouldn´t be a problem. In todays world we have a problem understanding what is what. Because medicine became chemically explained when researchers and other wanted it that way. We need to hold to the explanation that medicine is something extracted or used from nature and that’s usually from plants. If we can agree on having it so, it can be clearer in the medicine practition around world what´s understood.
