Obamacare: Not what it seems, un-American, unwise, risky, dangerous and not healthcare!

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

1. Not what it seems. “The Affordable Care Act,” sounds great, but it may not be affordable. “My insurance costs are going up about $400 a month, more than 200 percent, under Obamacare. In addition, my health care coverage will be a fraction of what it used to be,” said Lindsay Graham, Senator from South Carolina, whose state is repealing Obamacare.

Every nation practicing western medicine is on the brink of bankruptcy because of high costs and intensive care to extend life a little at the end. My father, an MD, chose to die at home from leukemia, and his decision wasn’t based on cost—he had insurance.

“Affordable Care Act”–experts predict 80 million people could lose medical insurance. Can they afford that? It’s not affordable, and is it “care” when they push it on us, even if we don’t want it? It may be an “Act,” as in a play, but the dream can become a nightmare when personal health is at stake.

“You can keep your doctor” was an intent to deceive us to get the law passed. You might not even keep your hospital. Government bureaucracy can’t run the post office profitably, but if trillions are involved, they can’t wait to get their hands in the cookie jar of healthcare. As Reagan said, The ten most frightening words in the English language are, “I’m from the government and I’m here to help you.”

2. Un-American. America is about freedom. Forcing a program that has so many clauses, restrictions, or exemptions so complex they require a lawyer to explain, isn’t American.

With 81 percent of American voters wanting the law repealed or significantly changed, and half saying it should be scrapped, why isn’t it happening?

3. Unwise. The wise man said, If you answer a matter before you consider it, it is a shame and a folly. Proverbs 18:13. Not one senator had read the law before signing it–Pelosi is reported to have said, Let’s get this voted so we can find out what’s in it! This is insanity. Schizophrenia (split brain) is when one half of the brain says what the other half knows isn’t true.

4. Risky–it risks your personal data on a government website that a cybersecurity expert told CNBC could take a year to secure. David Kennedy, a “white hat” hacker said, “It’s really hard to go back and fix the security around [HealthCare.gov] because security wasn’t built into it.” The government saying it’s okay now because they have a deadline, but they lie, like telling you that you can keep your doctor.

The biggest risk may be from the government with real time access to your bank account. If your medical expenses exceed $5,000 per year for an individual, or $10,000 for a family, “follow the money” and don’t be surprised if it’s gone.

5. Dangerous. This writer moved to Maryland and visited US Senate offices to share medical literature showing prescription drugs are a leading cause of illness, disability and death. One senator said, “You are wasting your time—they own us!” (referring to the drug company contributions to their re-election campaigns.) But if they will sell out on something that can make us sick or kill us, why should we trust anything they do?–and they shouldn’t be entitled to different coverage.

6. Unnecessary because it’s not healthcare. Our bodies are built up from the building blocks we give them. Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine, said, “Let your food be your medicine.” Chemicals that help our symptoms can be made in a factory and patented to make millions, but the body recognizes them as toxins that accumulate to cause other symptoms. “There are a lot of people are taking drugs to treat the side effects of drugs.” George Schiff, Harvard Medical School.

If we were “normal” at birth and years later develop a problem, we did it to ourselves. The good news is, it’s reversible! But if we fill our body with cholesterol for decades, it can take time to see progress.

A better diet and exercise would work a miracle for most people, and isn’t that what New Years’ Resolutions are all about?
