President Trump Lays Groundwork for National Emergency Declaration; Cites Humanitarian Crisis of Illegal Migrants & Human Traffickers

 Although widely expected to declare a national emergency in a televised address this evening, President Trumpinstead used the broadcast to appeal to the American people to demand Democrats capitulate and approve funding for border security.

In doing this, President Trump set the stage for invoking a new national emergency in the days ahead if Democrats fail to fund the border wall.

Citing a “growing humanitarian and security crisis,” the President cited an array of alarming (but true) statistics that describe the horrifying cost of illegal immigration. “Last month 20,000 migrant children were illegally brought into the United States,” the President stated, adding that those children were, “used as human pawns by ruthless gangs.”

“One in three women are sexually assaulted in the dangerous trek” that brings illegals to the border, President Trump explained. “Women and children are the biggest victims by far of our broken system… This is the cycle of human suffering that I am determined to end.”

Most of the statistics cited by Trump have been deliberately withheld from the American people by the dishonest anti-America news media such as CNN and the Washington Post. Because of that, millions of Americans are not aware of the full extent of the humanitarian crisis that continues to destroy innocent lives on and near the U.S. southern border.

Trump is building public support for declaring a national emergency to protect America’s borders

In taking this humanitarian approach to the border wall crisis, President Trump appears measured and careful in his actions. He realizes that any national emergency will be more effective if it is declared in alignment with the support of the American people. In tonight’s speech, Trump has set the stage to be able to say, “They left me no choice” when the treacherous Democrats refuse to fund construction of the border wall.

Democrats need a continued influx of illegal aliens to win future elections. Because Democrats’ messages no longer appeal to taxpaying Americans, they are relying on granting voting rights to illegals as their “ace in the hole” to defeat Trump in 2020. Thus, blocking the border wall is a political strategy for Democrats, who care nothing about the security of the American people as long as they get to rule over the country.

In effect, unleashing mass violence, drug smuggling and human trafficking across America is perfectly fine with Democrats as long as they attract new illegal voters to help sway future elections. Blocking continued illegal immigration with effective border security will help spell the defeat of Democrats, a political party that now stands against America and the American people. “The federal government remains shut down for one reason: Because Democrats will not fund border security,” Trump declared.

Prediction: The Democrats will cave, or Trump will declare a new national emergency to fund the border wall

President Trump has the power to declare a national emergency, deploy the U.S. military to the border and even declare “sanctuary city” mayors to be waging an illegal insurrection against the United States of America.

Stewart Rhodes of Oath Keepers, appearing on an InfoWars broadcast following Trump’s speech, stated that Trump should declare Mexican drug and smuggling gangs to be terrorist organizations engaged in a land invasion of the United States. Those liberal mayors or governors who protect these illegal criminals could then be arrested and charged with insurrection against the United States government.

In a statement on the OathKeepers.org website, Stewart Rhodes writes:

Now is the time to contact President Trump and urge him to take decisive action!   Please contact the White House immediately by phone, email, or both, and urge President Trump to declare a national emergency and deploy the full weight of the U.S. military to secure the entire 2,000 mile border with Mexico, with military boots on the ground, and to also order the U.S. military (the Army Corps of Engineers and military combat engineer units) to build the necessary layered system of wall/steel fencing, patrol roads, and surveillance systems – all backed up by ongoing military,  National Guard, and militia boots on the ground that are needed to finally and fully secure the entire 2,000 mile border with Mexico.
