CJNG Leave Human Remains and Mantas on the Streets of Morelia, Michoacán

Morelia, Michoacan - Several plastic bags were located with human remains lying in the streets of the Trincheras de Morelos neighborhood, south of the city.

The events were recorded today, neighbors alerted the police that on José María Munguía Street, corner of Brazil, several subjects had abandoned six black plastic bags, with human remains. A man’s head and two mantas with a narco message to an authority of the prosecutor, who goes by the nickname Chile Rellenos.

The police went to the site and upon arrival confirmed the finding and cordoned off the place.

Operations were implemented in the area to locate armed subjects on the street of Toma de Oaxaca, in front of 171, in the Trincheras de Morelos neighborhood.

Neighbors have reported a group of 20 armed people aboard a red Ram truck, and a white Altima vehicle. At the moment the police have failed to locate the armed people.

The staff of the Prosecutor’s Office was responsible for conducting the investigations. They lifted the six bags, the head and the two cardboards with narco messages.

At the moment the identity of the victim is unknown.
