Wave of Murders Continues in 2021 in Ensenada, Baja Ca; FIVE Shot on Playa Hermosa on Sunday Night

So far in 2021, in the municipality of Ensenada, 55 people have been murdered with firearms and 11 of these violent acts were committed in the month of February.

One dead and four other people were shot and wounded on the night of Sunday, February 7, on Playa Hermosa in Ensenada, a few blocks from the Second Naval Region, in the tourist area of the port.

The preliminary report shows that around 11:50 p.m. firearm shots were heard between Costero Boulevard and Palmas Street.

Agents from the Ensenada Municipal Public Security Directorate arrived at the site and located five injured people, who were transferred to hospitals, however a male of around 19 years old died.

The Wave of Murders in Ensenada Goes on Unchecked:

In the last twelve hours in Ensenada there have been three homicides in separate events according to data issued by agents of the Municipal Public Security Directorate (DSPM), this was Feb. 6 , 2021

The first report to C4 was recorded at 9:20 p.m. on Friday, in which neighbors reported firearm shots on Pino Suárez street of the Villas del Prado 2 subdivision, the municipal police found a person around 30 years old injured who was inside a home, later the paramedics declared him without vital signs.

The second discovery was this Saturday at 04:30 am in the Zapateros street of the Morelos 2 neighborhood where they reported firearm shots, when the municipal police arrived they found a male with gunshot wounds on the public highway, the paramedics declared no vital signs.

At 10:45 a.m. there was another emergency call referring that on 20 de Noviembre Street in the 17 de Abril neighborhood, firearm shots were reported, and the agents found an injured male inside a home who was declared without life by paramedics. According to the report, there are witnesses who saw two people who fled.
