Fernando “N”, nicknamed “El Ranchero” and/or “El Kin”, a criminal target that generates violence in the State of Guanajuato, has been captured, derived from the specialized investigation work headed by the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Attorney General’s Office of the State (FGE), in coordination with the Mexican Army, National Guard and the Secretariat of Public Security of the State (SSPE).

The use of operational intelligence and test data collected in the investigation carried out by the State Attorney General’s Office, allowed the implementation of a tactical operation in the city of Celaya. And in conjunction with federal authorities and the State Public Security Secretariat, the criminal target was located.

Fernando “N”, the tactical-strategic operation culminated successfully with the capture of the kingpin.

In the structure of the criminal group calling itself the Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel (CSRL), “El Ranchero” and/or “El Kin” appeared as one of the leaders and various crimes were linked to him, including multiple homicides.

In the next few hours, the detainee will be placed at the disposal of the competent authority in order to resolve his legal situation.

It is worth mentioning that the State Attorney General’s Office is holding open investigations to determine the probable participation of this offender in various criminal acts that occurred in the region.

The capture of Fernando “N” is of utmost importance for the continuity of the investigations of various criminal offenses, which will contribute to the clarification of more crimes.
