During the aggression there were no people killed, injured or detained, but a search operation was initiated to find those responsible.

Armed civilians shot elements of the National Guard on Sunday afternoon in the town of LasBebelamas, in the municipality of Navolato.

So far no casualties have been reported on either side, nor have people been reported injured or firearms, vehicles seized.

A coordinated operation is being carried out in search of the alleged perpetrators.

The authorities have also not released an official version of how these violent acts occurred in the San Pedro union.

The confrontation took place at 6:00 in the afternoon at the main entrance of San Pedro, in the aforementioned community. When the National Guards passed through the area, they were received with gunfire.

Cristóbal Castañeda Camarillo, head of the Secretariat of Public Security, explained on his Twitter account that the aggression had occurred by armed civilians.

“Elements of the National Guard were attacked by armed civilians in the vicinity of Las Bebelamas, Navolato. Support personnel of the State Preventive Police came to the site in support. There were no people injured,” he said in a tweet.

Given these events, the SSP deployed an operation in search of those allegedly responsible for this attack, but so far no results have been reported.
